These Terms of Service apply when you visit our website, use our online store or purchase products from us.

By using our website or placing an order with us, you agree to these Terms of Service together with our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy and Returns & Refunds Policy.

1. Our Online Store
Our online store is hosted by Shopify, which provides the ecommerce platform that allows us to sell our products to you.
You agree to use our website and online store only for lawful purposes and not in a way that may damage, disrupt or interfere with the website, our business or another person's use of the website.
2. Our Products
We do our best to ensure product descriptions, images, colours and other information displayed on our website are accurate.
However, colours and appearance may vary slightly depending on your screen, device and settings.
We may change, update or discontinue products from time to time and may limit the quantity of a product available for purchase.
3. GLO Cards and Personal Development
GLO Cards are designed as interrupters to encourage reflection, self-awareness and different ways of thinking.
The GLO Cards, GLO Guide and other GLO content are provided for general personal development and educational purposes. They are not intended to provide medical, psychological, therapeutic or other professional health advice, diagnosis or treatment.
GLO Cards are not a substitute for professional advice or support. If you have concerns about your mental or physical health or wellbeing, you should seek advice from an appropriately qualified professional.
How you interpret and use the GLO Cards is personal to you. Individual experiences and outcomes will vary.
Nothing in this section limits any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
4. Orders
When you place an order, you are offering to purchase the products in your cart at the price displayed at checkout.
You are responsible for checking your order, delivery details and contact information before completing your purchase.
We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including where:
- a product is unavailable
- there is an error in the price or product information
- we reasonably suspect fraudulent or unauthorised activity
- we are unable to process your payment
If we cancel an order after payment has been received, we will refund the amount paid for the cancelled order.
You will receive an order confirmation using the contact details you provide.
5. Prices and Payment
All prices displayed on our Australian store are in Australian dollars (AUD).
Prices and promotions may change from time to time. The price that applies to your purchase will be the price displayed at checkout when you place your order.
Any applicable shipping charges will be shown at checkout before you complete your purchase.
Payment is processed securely through Shopify and its available payment providers.
You confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method provided when placing your order.
6. Pre-Orders
From time to time, we may make products available for pre-order before they are ready for dispatch.
The expected dispatch timeframe will be shown on the relevant product page when you place your order.
Pre-order dispatch dates are estimates and may change due to production, freight, supply or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
If there is a significant change to the expected dispatch timeframe, we will contact you using the details provided with your order.
If your order contains both in-stock and pre-order products, the full order will generally be dispatched once the pre-order product becomes available, unless otherwise stated.

7. Shipping and Delivery
Orders are shipped using Australia Post.
Our usual processing and dispatch timeframe for in-stock products is 1–3 business days after your order and payment have been received.
Delivery timeframes provided by us or Australia Post are estimates and may be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Please make sure your delivery address is correct when placing your order. If you notice an error, contact us as soon as possible and we will do our best to update your details before your order is dispatched.

8. Returns, Refunds and Change of Mind
Please choose carefully, as we do not offer returns, exchanges or refunds simply because you change your mind.
This does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
If a product arrives damaged, is faulty, is not as described, or you receive the wrong product, please contact us so we can review the issue and provide an appropriate remedy.

9. Australian Consumer Law
Our products come with consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
These include guarantees that products will be of acceptable quality, be fit for any disclosed purpose and match their description.
Depending on the circumstances, if a product does not meet a consumer guarantee, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund or other remedy under the Australian Consumer Law.
Nothing in these Terms of Service excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified.

The content of The GLO Effect website and our products, including GLO Cards, card content, wording, concepts, designs, graphics, branding, logos, photographs, illustrations and other original materials, is owned by or licensed to The GLO Effect and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Purchasing GLO Cards gives you the right to use the physical product for its intended purpose. It does not transfer ownership of the intellectual property contained in the product.
Unless we give you prior written permission, you must not copy, reproduce, adapt, republish, distribute, sell, commercially exploit or create derivative products from our website content or GLO Cards.
You may share photographs of GLO Cards for ordinary personal or social media use, provided the content is not reproduced or used to create a competing or derivative product.

Information provided on The GLO Effect website is intended for general information purposes.
While we take reasonable care in preparing our website content, we do not guarantee that every piece of information will always be complete, current or free from error.
We may correct errors or update website content, product descriptions, availability or pricing when required.
If an error affects an order you have already placed, we will contact you where appropriate.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
You and The GLO Effect submit to the courts with jurisdiction in Queensland, subject to any rights you may have under applicable consumer law.
